چکیده

گسترهی پیجویی گزو، در فاصلهی 65 کیلومتری جنوب شرق شهر طبس و در بخش جنوبی رشتهکوه شتری قرار گرفته است. نفوذ تودههای نیمهعمیق (کرتاسه فوقانی؟) حدواسط با ترکیب مونزونیتی تا دیوریتی به داخل سنگهای کربناتی سازند شتری به سن تریاس، عامل کانیسازی مس در منطقهاند. زونهای دگرسان شناسایی شده در تودهها نفوذی عبارتند از: کوارتز- سرسیت± پیریت (مهمترین)، سیلیسی- سرسیتی، پروپلیتیک، سیلیسی- پروپلیتیک و سیلیسیشدن شدید است. دگرسانی کوارتز- سرسیت± پیریت، واحد کربناتی در اطراف تودهها تحتتاثیر دگرسانی سیلیسی قرار گرفته و در بعضی نقاط اسکارنی شده است. کانیسازی بیشتر به شکلهای داربستی و افشان و کمتر برش گرمابی دیده میشود. رگچهها عبارتند از: کوارتز، پیریت، کوارتز - پیریت، کوارتز- کربنات- سولفید، کربنات- سولفید، و رگچههای سولفیدی اکسید شده. تراکم رگچههای حاوی کانیهای سولفیدی در بعضی نقاط، به بیش از 40 رگچه در مترمربع نیز میرسد. زون گوسان گستردهای در نتیجهی اکسایش کانیهای سولفیدی تشکیل شده است. دامنهی تغییرات عناصر در رسوبهای رودخانهای به صورت زیر است: مس 36 تا1200 گرم در تن، سرب 36 تا 125 گرم در تن و روی 62 تا 738 گرم در تن. همچنین دامنهی تغییرات عناصر در نمونههای خرده سنگی منطقه گزو بهصورت زیر است: مس 100 تا 20000 گرم در تن، سرب 10 تا 400 گرم در تن و روی 50 تا 3000 گرم در تن. بیشترین میزان مس و روی در دگرسانیهای کوارتز- سرسیت±پیریت و سیلیسیشدن شدید دیده میشود. شواهد نشان میدهد که کانیسازی منطقه احتمالاً از نوع مس پورفیری و اسکارن وابسته به آن است.

Geology, alteration, mineralization and geochemistry of Gazu prospect area, southeast of Tabas

چکیده [English]

Gazu prospect area is located about 65Km southeast of Tabas in the southern part of Shotori range. Sub-volcanic intermediate intrusive rocks (Upper Cretaceous?), monzonitic to dioritic in composition, intruded into carbonate rocks of Shotori Formation (Triassic) which are the main source for copper mineralization in Gazu district. Alteration zones associated within the intrusive are: Quartz- sericite± pyrite (main type), silicified- sericite, propylitic, silicified- propylitic and strong silicification. The carbonate unit is silicified, near some intrusive rocks, and in some area Skarns were formed. Mineralization occurs mainly as stockwork and disseminated with minor breccia. Veinlet’s type is: Quartz, pyrite, quartz- pyrite, quartz-carbonate-sulfide, carbonate-sulfide and sulfide. The density of quartz-sulfide veinlet with sulfide minerals is about 40 per m2, in some places. An extensive gossan zone is formed due to oxidation of sulfides appeared in intrusive rocks and carbonate unit that due to oxidation of sulfide minerals. The geochemistry of stream sediments are as follow: Cu = 36-1200 (ppm), Pb = 36-125(ppm), Zn = 62- 738 (ppm). Rock chip geochemistry is: Cu = 100-20000 (ppm), Pb = 10-400 (ppm), Zn = 50- 3000 (ppm). High content Cu and Zn are associated with quartz- sericite± pyrite and strong silicification. The evidence shows that the Gazu is porphyry copper and related skarn type system.
