Zoning of pyroxene shows process of magma crystallization as well as tectonic setting, magma chemical composition, magmatic differentiation, thermodynamics, assimilation and magma mixing. Basalt of Piranshahr have oscillatory zoning clinopyroxene that are crystalized by element diffusion. Zoning in clinopyroxene show that core crystalized with high Mg magma and rimes crystalized with low Mg and high Fe elements.
Geochemical analysis of pyroxene indicated that pyroxene crystalized in enriched water, high fugacity supra-subduction zone in lower crust-upper mantle region and zoning of pyroxene show differentiation of elements during decrease of temperature.
