Paleozoic basic magmatism (Ordovician to Carboniferous) in the northern Kerman Province (between Zarand and Ravar), until now, has remained poorly understood in terms of petrology and tectonics. This study aims to determine the geochemical composition, mantle source, and tectonic setting of these rocks. The results show that these rocks include pillow lavas and columnar basalts, diabasic dikes, and small-scale olivine-gabbro intrusions, emplaced within the Barout, Soltanieh, Zaigun, Lalun (Dahu), Kuhbanan, Gatkouiyeh and Shabadjareh Formations. Ratio’s data of trace and rare earth elemaents indicate that these magmas originated from a garnet lherzolite to garnet-spinel lherzolite mantle source, with 5–15% partial melting degrees at depths of 105–120 km, similar to ocean island basalts (OIB-like
