The Sefidsang antimony and gold deposit is located on the southern margin of the Zahedan granitoid within the East Iranian Flysch Zone. The studied rock units include alkaline granite, leucogranite, granodiorite, dacitic and andesitic dikes, altered igneous rocks, and silica veins bearing antimony and gold, which intruded into Eocene flysch-type sediments. Mineralogical studies indicate that the main ore mineral is stibnite. The flysch units consist of phyllite, sandstone, and shale. Igneous rocks in the area comprise alkaline granite, leucogranite, porphyritic granodiorite, dacite, andesite, and altered igneous units. Geochemical data show that the composition of the rock units ranges from granite to granodiorite and diorite. These rocks exhibit calc-alkaline to high-K calc-alkaline affinities and formed in syn- to post-collisional tectonic settings.
