The study area is located in the Urmia-Dokhtar magmatic zone, 65 km northeast of Ardastan city. The host rocks of the deposit, mainly tuff to basaltic andesite, are calc-alkaline in nature, of I-type, meta-aluminous, and belong to the magnesian series. Spider diagrams normalized to primitive mantle and chondrite indicate enrichment in LILE and depletion in LREE relative to HREE, characteristic of calc-alkaline rocks in continental subduction zones. This suggests that the magma originated from the partial melting of a metasomatized lithospheric mantle (spinel and garnet-bearing) that had undergone carbonate metasomatism prior to melting, situated above the subducting slab. Geochemical variations in major and trace elements indicate the involvement of continental crustal contamination in the magmatic evolution and mingling during the ascent of the parental magma, as well as the role of fluids released from the subducting slab in the composition of the parental magma and the maturity of the tectono-magmatic
